WaterReader – Remote Water Consumption Reading Solution

WaterReader is an innovative solution for remotely collecting water consumption readings. Its main version attaches directly to the top of existing water meters, without the need for replacement. Its main technical features include:

• Remote Reading: Allows consumption readings without the need for physical travel to the meters.
• Communication Technology: Uses GSM/GPRS or NB-IoT technologies for data transmission, ensuring efficiency and a wide signal range.
• Long-Lasting Battery: The battery can last between 4 and 6 years with GPRS or between 10 and 12 years with NB-IoT.
• Alarms and Monitoring: Detects faults such as reverse flow, overflow, absence of flow, meter movement, constant consumption, among others.

These occurrences can be reported in real time.

Management Platform: Through a dashboard, managers can monitor data, configure alerts, view the history of readings and alarms, and analyze accumulated consumption.

Simple Installation: The system is easy to install and can be applied to different meter models without the need to replace existing ones.

Integrated Solution: The system offers a turnkey solution with automatic data collection and secure transmission to the centralized database.

In addition to the main version, there is also an alternative version of WaterReader, equipped with a cable for collecting pulses emitted by the water meter itself, if it has a pulse output or an accessory from the meter manufacturer with a pulse output. This model allows for more direct integration with meters that already have this functionality.

Additional Option: For meter models that require additional monitoring, the wired WaterReader can also include a signal input for connecting a water pressure probe, allowing for more comprehensive, real-time analysis of network pressure.
